I just downloaded it, it didn’t work. It crashed twice. I download unRAR Expert, and that worked.

It simply doesn’t work.
Don’t waste your time on this. It crashes all the time and it doesn’t work at all. I was not sucessful in extracting any .rar files.
The only thing I could get it to do was quit unexpectedly. Even the statement “quit unexpectedly” is incorrect because after the first few attempts “quitting” was all I was expecting it to do.
It works like a charm! I dragged the app onto my dashboard, so all I have do is drag & drop and it extracts the files I need without VLC causing any disturbance!

Seems to work perfectly for me. I’ll report back after a few extractions but so far it’s super easy and works like a charm.
Fantastic, super fast and did not crash at all like many others have reported. System: Macbook Pro with Retina, extracted files from/to Monster SSD overdrive 240GB.
Works fine, but can not copy paste the unarchive password, has to type it! I install The Unarchiver, it works better and you can apply it to all in batch

Downloaded and attempted to use to open a RAR file with my up-to-date OSX operating system and brand new MacBook Pro. The program never opened the intended file. The only thing I liked about this program is I didnt waste my money on it.

Crash when unrar a file. Very often!
Got a .rar file and having never heard of it before searched the app store. Found this app downloaded it easily and extracted my files in less than 30 seconds. Fantastic!

works for what I need
This app works great for me. I have a friend who sent me .zip files of .pdf of comics and this opened them great.
quick and easy
I downloaded the app, set up the preference and went to documents to open .rar file with the app. it extracted the file quickly.
It Worked
It was a bit complicated to understand how to put the file, so that it can be extracted but after a 5 minutes of trying it did work. :)
